Jules Podell's Copacabana Nightclub in New York City was a place where Bobby Darin dreamed of performing. His dream came true on June 15, 1960. He was 24 years old. A favorite there, he returned to the Copa many times to packed houses and thunderous applause.

The old club is gone, but we went to see where it once stood, just to feel the vibe and listen for the echo of his voice and the excited, happy crowds.
