Not a lot of people know that among his many talents, Bobby Darin was also a successful music producer. In 1963, he purchased Trinity Music and opened offices in the Brill Building. Two well-known hits for his company were Under The Boardwalk and The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss). The first floor of the Brill Building has all the original materials in a beautiful art deco style. No pictures are allowed. Ooops. We snapped two before we knew that. One is a shot of the gorgeous, palatial foyer. The other is a picture of the building's directory. We have only to use our imaginations to see the words Trinity (T.M.) music and Bobby Darin's name on there. Our apologies to the Brill building, but we had to include the pictures here, after all . . . HE WAS THERE! |
